Buying Authentic Coach Handbags From Ebay
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I received this email the other day and I thought it would be a great help for all that hope to buy anything from Ebay.
Thanks so much for your info - I had been checking feedback, etc. but now I have the feeling that most people don’t know a fake from an original! I have one Coach bag that I bought at Nordstrom’s - it was expensive but worth it - and, of course, I bought the Tote for my granddaughter there, too. I feel I can trust my FAVORITE store!!!!!!

Yeah, I see what you are saying. The problem with ebay is that because these are private users they sometimes reuse each other pictures. I would email the seller and ask for new pictures of the product. If the seller will not take new pictures then don’t buy from that seller. He probably has fake merchandise. Also, check the feedback of the seller. This could tell a lot about what merchandise the seller has. Buyers will usually tell other buyers if the product is not authentic. I will see if I can find a link to reversible totes. If I find any I will post on my website and email you the link.
I hope that helps,

Thanks for the info - but a problem I have with EBAY is many sellers use the SAME pictures - so how would one know if they picture a genuine and ship a fake. Do your outlet stores have reversible totes? I have been looking for the beige/brown #10125 but can’t afford to pay 300.00 as I bought a black/black one for my granddaughter who JUST HAD TO HAVE ONE!!

Hi - I just read your information re Coach bags. Here is the link I had been to:Coach Handbag Store, Authentic Coach Handbags
I noticed all the referrals are to EBAY. I had an email from EBAY saying that an item I was bidding on had been pulled - so I did some research and found out that there are many NON-AUTHENTIC Coach bags on EBAY yet they are advertised as AUTHENTIC. I also found a site that sells REPLICAS and said you can’t tell the difference between theirs and the authentic Coach because they use only the finest materials, etc., etc.
How can one be assurred that they are NOT buying a REPLICA?
Sara
I’ve gotten questions like this and I always give the same advise. Ask for more pictures if you believe the bag is not authentic and check the sellers feedback. One more thing, don’t buy from the new sellers if you can’t check their feedback. You may get stuck with a dud.
I hope this helps all would be Ebay buyers.
