Guccio Gucci started his luggage and saddle company
in the year 1921, in Florence, then created another company a
little later in Via Condotti, Rome. Little did he, or anyone else
for that matter, that the name Gucci would be adored and sought
after from everyplace on the globe. Everybody loves Gucci handbags.

In 1947, Guccio Gucci created and released a breakthrough handbag

Following this remarkable hit, Guccio Gucci made a valiant return

As Guccio Gucci opened his first store in New York in 1953, his
company has gained the respect of many throughout the fashion
industry and the world. Unfortunately, Guccio Gucci died on this
year, just when his company was about to take over the United
States fashion industry, creating millions more of adoring Gucci

Famous stars of 1953 certainly helped to put Guccio Gucci handbags
on the map in America. Stars like Audry Hepburn, Peter Sellers
and Grace Kelly. During this time, another handbag from Guccio
Gucci made the scene and was instantly popularized and immortalized
by the first lady, Jackie Kennedy. This handbag became known through
time as the Jackie O bag.
During the 1970's, thte Gucci industry spread through other countries,
such as Asia and Europe, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Maurizio Gucci
became president of Gucci in the early 1980's. And in 1984 Domenico
de Sole became the president of Gucci America. The Gucci company
is still reigning the fashion industry today. Evey year Gucci
produces many handbags that has lead the fashion trends. Gucci
fans all accross the world are enjoying Gucci handbags and are
the proud owners of excellent designs and great quality in craftmanship.
