You would think that the word slim would describe a smaller handbag with less features.  At least that is what I thought when I first looked at this bag.  I was wrong.  The word slim is a little deceiving. 

Comparing the two bags the SLIM CARLY SIGNATURE  and the old CARLY SIGNATURE you may say that they are just exactly the same.  Yes, they both have the same comparments and straps.  But there are three distinct differences and they all are in the size department.

1. The Strap - The strap on the new Slim Carly Signature in 16' in length while the Carly Signature is 12 1/2".
2. The Drop - The drop of the slim bag is 10' while the Carly Signature has a drop of 6 1/2”.
3. The deminsions - The deminsions of the slim Carly Signature is 15 3/4 (L) x 11 1/2 (H) x 5 1/2 (W).  While the deminisions of the Carly Signature are 15 (L) x 9 1/2 (H) x 5 (W).

Oh, one more difference is price.  Retail price of the Slim Carly Signature is $378, $30 more than the original Carly Signature.  This bag also comes in a all leather version that retails for $478.  Both of these bags come in multiple colors.  But I especially like the leather version.
